Every step of my career was taken with an eye on my next job. It felt like prioritizing earnings potential over job satisfaction in my career would be necessary. I pursued an accounting degree believing that would allow me to save faster, and enable me to open a bagel shop, my dream at that time. What I couldn’t have anticipated was that my vision would collapse with the economy in 2008. So, I returned to the workforce to provide for my family and landed a job with a bank that offered a schedule that allowed me to thrive professionally, build great relationships, and not miss my children growing up - that time was priceless. I developed an enthusiasm for financial literacy and ultimately decided to leave the bank to pursue a career in financial planning. I had a new dream and wanted to follow my heart into the second half of my career. I envision merging traditional accounting and wealth management services under one roof. The idea is to help others understand how to move forward with their dreams without allowing financial insecurity to hold them back. I’m confident I will help them redefine their visions as I did my own. The year leading up to the opening of my own firm was life-changing from a personal and professional perspective. Taking proactive control of my career and reconnecting with my authentic self has allowed my personal and business relationships to thrive. A positive lesson I gained from this journey was understanding the limitations I previously put on myself, and the positive results that occurred when I started removing those restraints which is why I’m passionate about empowering others to find financial stability. My goal for my clients is for them to pursue their dreams, with self-assurance that financial insecurity won't get in the way. I want to serve others in a way that will enable them to sustain their desired lifestyle with confidence.
